Many people struggle with stress, anxiety, depression, difficult life transitions, or experiences of trauma or loss. Life is full of challenges that can feel overwhelming, leading to disruptions in our lives and relationships. Sometimes we need some help to get back on track. Counseling can help you attend to and shift unhealthy patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving and help you to create a more fulfilling life and a better relationship with yourself and others. You can begin to relate to your difficult feelings and experiences in new ways, inviting a more easily accessed sense balance, calm, and joy. These types of personal transformations can allow you to create more freedom and opportunity in your life.
I create a warm and accepting environment for you to do the inner work needed for change and growth. My integrative approach draws from mindfulness based cognitive therapies, psychodynamic, family systems, relational, somatic, and experiential therapies to help you heal the past, grow in the present, and create a future where you will thrive. I believe that we all have a natural tendency to strive towards health, healing, and well-being, and that personal growth is strengthened when supported within nurturing relationships.
