About Kim

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and Licensed School Counselor. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education from CU Denver. My background includes working as a psychotherapist in private practice and at university and community counseling centers providing counseling for individuals, couples, adolescents, children and families. I currently work in schools supporting the mental health and social emotional growth of children, and I work in private practice providing individual counseling and parent coaching. I also offer supervision for therapists pursuing licensure, and have worked as adjunct faculty in local graduate programs supervising students completing their Masters degree in counseling psychology.

I specialize in working with individuals who are dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, difficulty with life transitions, grief and loss, eating and body image issues, parenting concerns, and relationship concerns. I work from the perspective that the challenges and difficulties that hold us back from living a more satisfying life can be the entry way into meaningful personal and relational transformation.
